Hello. I am Feiyang YIN, I attended CHI 2026 in Barcelona this April as a workshop presenter.
こんにちは。YINです。今年の4月に、ワークショップの発表者としてバルセロナで開催されたCHI 2026に参加しました。
This was my first time to attend such a top-tier international conference, so it was really a valuable experience for me.
このようなトップレベルの国際会議に参加するのは初めてだったので、私にとって本当に貴重な経験でした。
During the conference, I reunited with old friends and made many new ones from universities such as Cornell University, the University of Edinburgh, and Université Paris-Saclay. I also learned a great deal, exchanged ideas with researchers from different backgrounds, including professors from Keio University and the University of Auckland.
会議中には、昔の友人と再会したり、コーネル大学やエディンバラ大学、パリ・サクレー大学などから来た新しい友人ができたりしました。
また、慶應義塾大学やオークランド大学の先生方をはじめ、さまざまなバックグラウンドを持つ研究者の方々と話す機会があり、たくさんのことを学ぶことができました。研究について意見交換をしたり、いろいろな考え方に触れたりして、とても充実した時間を過ごせました。
Besides the conference, I also had the opportunity to experience the local culture. I traveled to a seaside town called Tossa and enjoyed some delicious local food, including ham with melon.
会議以外にも、現地の文化を楽しむ機会がたくさんありました。
まず、トッサ・デ・マールという海辺の町を訪れました。そこで生ハムとメロンをはじめとする美味しい料理を楽しみました。
I also visited several churches and was amazed by their beauty and incredible level of detail.
また、いくつかの教会も見学しました。その美しさや細部まで作り込まれた装飾には本当に驚かされました。
For the final stop of my trip to Spain, I visited a valley called Núria.
スペイン旅行の最後の目的地は、ヌリアという渓谷でした。
On the way to Núria, I stopped by a medieval town called Vic. The goat cheese salad at one of the local restaurants was absolutely delicious! While exploring the town, I was also surprised to discover a bookstore full of otaku culture!!!!
ヌリアへ向かう途中には、ビックという中世の雰囲気が残る町にも立ち寄りました。現地のレストランで食べたヤギのチーズサラダがとても美味しかったです。また、町を散策していると、オタク文化にあふれた本屋さんを見つけて驚きました！！
Afterward, I took a bus to Ribes de Freser. To reach Núria, I then boarded the rack railway, which offered spectacular views along the way. The scenery in Núria was truly beautiful. My only regret was that I couldn’t find the herd; they seemed to be hiding somewhere.
その後、バスでリベス・デ・フレセルへ向かいました。そしてヌリアへ行くために登山鉄道（ラック式鉄道）に乗りました。車窓からの景色は素晴らしく、道中もとても楽しめました。
ヌリアの景色は本当に美しく、とても印象的でした。唯一の心残りは、放牧されている動物の群れを見つけられなかったことです。どこかに隠れてしまっていたのかもしれません。
