Biography
Dawar Khan was working as Assistant Professor at the Interactive Media Design Lab, Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Japan, from 2018 to 2020. Currently He is working as Postdoctoral Researcher at same Lab.
He completed his PhD in Computer Science from National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition (NLPR), Institute of Automation, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), Beijing China, in 2018. During his PhD study, he was supervised by Professor Xiaopeng Zhang and Associate Professor Dr. Dong-Ming Yan at NLPR and supported by Chinese Government Scholarship. He was awarded with the 2018-Excellent International Graduates Award of the UCAS.
Prior to that, he did his BS and MS in Computer Science from University of Malakand Pakistan, in 2011 and 2014 respectively. His research interests include Computer Graphics, Computational Geometry, Mesh Processing, and Mixed Reality.
