
Md Mustafizur RahmanMd Mustafizur Rahman received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Information and Communication Engineering) from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, in 2020. He joined the Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Japan, in Autumn 2023, where he completed his Master’s degree and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Human–Computer Interaction (HCI) within the Interactive Media Design Laboratory.His doctoral research focuses on Explainable Action Recognition in Augmented Reality (AR) using Large Language Models (LLMs) for general task support. He aims to develop intelligent and explainable AR systems that can understand, interpret, and provide feedback on human actions through multimodal interaction, with applications in rehabilitation, training, and assistive technologies. His broader research interests include Extended Reality (XR/AR/VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and human-centered computing.
